No Love for Brooklyn
Some are not included in the love.
Brooklyn,
an iconic scene of the big New York.
glamorous places like Coney Island and the Bagelsmith,
but no glamour shots for her.
Not even a half second appearance.
“Live from New York,”
but not all of New York.
SNL’s unmistakable credit roll shunned her.
She is said to “come alive at night” and that SNL is “missing the flavor of New York.”
Brooklyn,
loved by her residents, but “seemingly shunned” for the love of New York.
The love of the mixture of cultures and counties,
all put into a fast paced opening.
“Live from…” Manhattan, the Bronx, and King’s country.
Brooklyn,
pushed aside of the love given to her siblings.
Deemed not important enough by a comedy show partly created by her.
