make-up smeared eyes
Yellow lines blur past on this traveling road,
Memories of summer pasts
and forever’s that never last
Cloud the mind with unbearable fear;
Fear of falling,
Fear of breathing,
Fear of becoming more than just make-up smeared eyes,
Pull to the side,
Unleash past evils with
inescapable heaves,
Pull yourself back up,
Follow those brighter lights
leading to happiness soaked in blinding fist fights,
Unleash everything;
Every last fear,
Every last worry,
Every last hate,
Every last boy,
Leave it all there
to melt away,
Against summer heat pavements,
You dance away every last pain
every time you runaway,
Never looking back,
Never returning the same,
After every summer ending heartbreak.
