I’m writing you a letter.
It’s a secret; don’t tell.
Maybe it will be better
now that you cannot yell.
The same tears fill my eyes.
A lump grows in my throat.
I can’t help but cry
for the dear heart you broke.
My love, how you mangle
those you hold so dear.
I’m no longer entangled
and I see oh so clear.
