Intentions
I intend to go.
To the vast empty deserts, to the seas, to the unclear air above; wherever injustice looms.
I intend to answer the call that has yet to be uttered. To go into the war zones for those who haven’t asked it of me.
Some think it foolish for a girl to do such things, but I intend to do them.
I intend to prove myself loyal. To protect what isn’t mine and to preserve what I do not call my own.
The risk I do not acknowledge. Although I see it there looming in the depths of ruin with those who have fallen standing for the very things we take for granted.
I intend to fight, the cost is no matter. I will join together with those who, like me, understand the weakness of our core and have stepped up to support the things in which we say we believe.
I intend to do what I do not want to do. To give all I have if it be called of me, and to take nothing from which I have earned.
I intend to do the things of which some do not approve, but I will do them with diligence, never losing hope for the standards that I intend to keep flying highly.
