Forbidden Love
I felt a soft stroke through my hair,
and I knew he was right there beside me.
I could feel his warm breath on my ear,
as he spoke ever so softly.
Still, I loved him with a deep passion,
a passion so strong, so real,
it consumed me.
my life no longer belonged to me.
To me, he was the only one that mattered;
the only one that has ever touched my heart.
but even though he could not be mine,
my heart still belonged to him.
Now their was no separation.
so I’m left to dream, prey and hope,
that one day he’ll be mine,
instead of a figment of my imagination.
