HIs Little Girl

With his blue eyes and,
shaggy brown-blonde hair,
he said good-bye.
He told me to wait for him.
I couldn't hold back the tears.
The butterflies in my stomach grew worse.
I will always be his little girl.
I will never forget him,
And as he drove out of sight,
I blew him a kiss,
And whispered under my breath.
'I will always be your little girl.'
