A rose
A rose
Red,
Luscious,
Born to be noticed.
A rose,
Thorned,
Protected.
Does it dare let anyone close.
A rose,
Pricked,
Blood,
Get close, and you will be hurt.
A rose,
Surrounded
Toxic
She hurts those she loves.
She
Cant
Help it.
Her insecurities feed those thorns
They tare
They ignite
The welting pain, The magnetic fight.
She regrets
She wants
To let others in,
Those Thorns
She feeds.
She needs a knight in shining armour.
She found him
She cried.
And she said goodbye.
She thought,
It was right.
He deserved much better.
Her petals
They fell.
Her thorns
Were fed.
She lies,
In pain.
Her thorns
Are all that remain
She tried
She knows.
She will never be so
Red
So
Sweet.
As when she did
With him.
A rose,
Smells sweet,
Is lovely
Red
And
Green.
Those thorns
Stick out.
Pushing others away,
No one to
Smell her sweet scent.
No one to touch,
Her falling silky pedals.
No one to strarve,
Those growing thorns.
Do you dare take on the challendge?
