The Wall

Pride, Impatience, Annoyance, Frustration, and Tempers
create a wall between us-
a wall I built
Sometimes through remorse
I am able to go over
but I'm thrown just as quickly back over
I'm trying- I really am-
to take down the wall-
every time I see the hurt in your eyes
I 'm going to try harder-
one stone at a time
I will bring down the wall between us-
for good-
and hopefully the next time I look into your eyes
I will see forgivness
