"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid" - Albert Einstein

A tortuous sea, tumbling in fire,
Shadowy and cold on its luminous spire,
Glistening and glimmering amongst the stars,
Whose brothers and sisters journey afar,

The orb grows vague in the golden gauntlet’s blaze,
Drowning the Earth in scorching flames,
Drowsy and dreamy in the infinite heat,
Wandering aimless on its perilous feet,

The Chariot rides searing the land,
Burdening the world by the Gods’ mighty hands,
The forgotten souls buried and lost,
And night comes again with its biting frost.

This poem is one I wrote in the 7th grade. I was always very proud of it and thought that it would be fun to share it. Enjoy!
