Silent as a Mime

You can never rely on time
It always seems to speed up or rewind
Time sneaks up on you as silent as a mime
It is hard to do anything with time on your mind
Time seems long during the day
But short during the night
Time always seems to get away
Especially when it comes time to see the light
Time has a mind of its own
Sneaking up on you or going slow
It is not like a bank so it doesnt loan
So you better be ready to receive life’s final blow
