The Flames

Creeping up on her
suddenly. Not planned or
necessarily deserved. Sudden
stench of heavy smoke. Inching
closer and closer
towards burning her loved ones
and treasured items.Crawling
towards the exit as swift as
possible.Consuming everything in
its path. The thick black
air bringing her down. Almost
to safety when the floorboards
collapse. Furiously bringing her
lower and lower into the
scorching dangerous
flames.
