Strangers
Is this really what you call a friend?
You acted like you care,
but in fact it's none of your business.
We are so affectionate,
hugging each other,
showing how much we miss each other
every time we meet.
We talk for hours,
hours of fun and empty talk.
We know the obvious about each other,
but do you really know me?
I'm sorry I don't know you much either.
We hang out so often,
laughing at each other's jokes,
having fun gossiping 'bout the other friends,
teasing each other because it's so much fun.
Everyone thinks we are inseparable,
but something inside me still cries,
of loneliness and pain,
lost in a world of strangers.
