Black Pond
wander through the snowy, dark forest
with my dress torn up, and no longer white.
I struggle to stay awake but I already know
I'm gonna lose the fight.
My feet are bleeding because my shoes are too tight.
My hands are cold, with will I live through the night?
I hear my name being called, I turn to around to see
but I see no one behind me. I look back and wander back from once I came.
I still hear your voice calling my name.
I feel the hairs on my neck stand up
I feel a scream in my throat ready to erupt.
I'm frightened by what I see. For what I see in the black pond isn't you...it's me...
