Darkening Angel
Dancing among the graves alone
She's searching, waiting
For a place to call a home
For a love to call her own
But nothing is there
Only mist and air
Darkness falls upon the land
The powers of the moon are in her hands
She alone remains in the dark
Watching dead men from a deserted park
Bloodshot eyes unseeing
Terrible perils unyielding
Her only sanctum is dying
Broken wings bleeding
Black feathers scattered
Sable night growing
Perfect world shattered
She lies restlessly in her bed
Dreaming in black and white
And red
Conflict without resolution
Death without rebirth
Dream and thoughts of suicide
All become unearthed
