We've Got Our Reasons
We moved out here,
hoping for a new start.
Not that where we were before,
was bad in any sense.
Things just got uncomfortable.
Out here we can be who we want,
out here in Missouri.
Especially with so few people,
telling us what to do.
We can really live out here,
farming with each seasons pass.
No real difficulty to plowing, planting,
and then waiting for rain.
It simplifies things to live around the harvest.
You must understand, however,
that we intend to stay.
We killed three people in New Hampshire.
For trespassing on our property,
although the deed was theirs.
Now, please, kindly leave.
