Minds waver like flickering fire,
The warmth of the embers sooth,
Diminishing winter’s hatred,
Stars bleed through the hazy fog,
Chilled air lingers on the window pane,
Crickets are heard amongst night breezes,
The musky aroma of smoldering wood,
Focus trembling,
Imagining invisible shadows,
Angels fixate in their breathless bodies,
Fading into oblivion,
Peace shrouds the world
