Hollow Hole
You were my world,
the person I could trust,
the one I would talk to.
But then one night I didn't
get enough sleep and it got me into
more trouble than I needed.
I prayed to god to help me through,
and when you said you were leaving me
I suddenly felt empty,
so now I ask before the lord
is it right to ask for one more turn.
To turn the page and continue on carving down that path,
when I did him and yourself wrong?
Is it right for me to say I’ll miss you son
so please don't leave me in this hollow hole
I’ve dug myself in.
