A riverbed of veins running dry

Slit hope
Snowy cold
Haunted spirits & frozen lies

Bloody blades
Wintergirl rage
Frightful childhood memories

Thirty-three calls
Parents' brawl
Hungry hearts count calories

Stranger shame
Poker games
Desirable struggles to survive

Weeping sleepless
Sleeveless secrets
Hiding true feelings in disguise

Recovering faith
Self-conscious brain
Peppermint tea scents swirling above

Deathly casket closure
Healing scarred exposure
Screaming heartbeats cry for love
