Music Box
I hear a moon sweet melody
In the night it’s calling me
Slowly, I follow its sweet notes
Slowly I go, on a cloud I floats
Violet and pink and baby blue
As I watch, it calls them too
It’s too sweet for one to bare
In your mind it eases care
Quiet footsteps on sand of white
It is the music that plays at night
The music, it comes inside a box
Carried swiftly across the rocks
I smiled; I laughed, I sang, and danced
Listen not or be entranced
The music is sweet as summer sky
Listen now, it takes you high
It’s like sprouting wings to join the angels
Leaving Earth and all its tangles
Listen now, hear that tune
It’s the music of the moon
