Rain Fall
A whisper of rain hangs in the air
The moon casts a shadow on my memory
As streams of water glide paths through the night
Like teardrops from Heaven for all to see
The illusion of a sense of comfort
Emotion hangs on every drop
The silence of a fate unchanging
A promise that has long been forgot
The temptation of a change of pace
Mists cover up the deep dark sky
Moonlight, a doorway to a new tomorrow
The dreams of those just passing by
The sparkle of a gleam of hope
Just like the shine of eyes in love
The lush night covering up the past
A beautiful whirlwind of change from above
Acceptance slipping out of reach
Redundant thoughts to get out fast
A glowing storm, thundering mystery
Eloquence in my mind, but in reality can’t last
