My Heart a Public Door

My eyes do see
what they want to see
and do trust me
disbelieve what they want to keep-out
my heart is solid yet soft
tender yet raw
distraught yet joyful
but closed like a public door
it is open for those who use it
and open for those to abuse it
Why you may ask?
I believe everyone
deserves a second chance.
