Darkening silence

The sun, bright like the yellow of the brightest yellow lemon,
Descending from the darkening blue sky.
It disappears behind the earth and
Leaves the night in pitch-black darkness.
A magical white moon projects its glittering face
Upon the waters of the blue-green sea.
Its reflection shines like a purple and pink marble.
The trees,
Green and calm,
A dark forest.
Their roots,
Big and brown,
Hugging the earth.
The rain falls silently.
