A Fusion Of Black
the blue hues of ocean have melted away
and with it the green land we walk
the world met boiling point far too long ago
and nothing remains but a bitter black
my life has turned to paper in the rain
and fire on dried wood
to splinters underfoot
and glass bottles on the floor
to the colors and the sounds
and the pictures of the globe
denying savior from what has become
of what I once knew
as society
