When Lions Love
November 1, 2008
I finally got
everything I ever wanted
and then you
came into my life.
You took me in
and spun me 'round.
I spun so fast
I hit the ground.
That's when you left
leaving me to die.
You thought I'd give up
just run home and cry.
I picked myself up
and pushed you 'way.
I ruined my life that day.
Everything I once had
is gone forever
all because some boy
lied and said,
"I'll love for always and ever."
