First Kiss
First Kiss
First kiss is on the lips:
So soft and sweet holding on the hips.
Maybe touching her hair or talking romantic.
A girl, Mellissa will cure me with her beauty when I’m sick.
We kissed outside her door.
I don’t know her anymore.
She is gone from my life.
Yet she promised when we were kids to be my wife.
Her eyes were a blue green sea.
If I saw her now she wouldn’t even notice me.
When we stopped kissing, we both stared.
Looking at each other, thinking of what we have shared:
Her mom called us to come in.
I wasn’t holy, but I felt I committed a sin.
Her mom had a fresh shampoo smell.
But I couldn’t stop looking at Mellissa and fell.
We were eating at her table
When her mom asked us how was our day.
I smiled and said and didn’t know what to say.
Mellissa looked so lovely, and beautiful.
Her mother sat next to me, and smelled fruitiful.
That first kiss we shared was on the lips.
I was romantic then, so I held on to her hips.
