Surgery
I lie here staring at the light;
With the clouds up above so bright;
Hanging over me like a crazed maniac;
I really hope I do get back;
I am lost here, in this place stranded;
I didn’t want to be a banded;
He left me with a sudden flash;
Now he’s coming at me with a mask;
All I can smell is a trace of cologne;
I hear a crack, it’s the breaking of my backbone;
Lying here now I feel so scared;
But I know he really cares;
I lie here in this place;
And I think now that I know that face;
It is he that gorgeous man;
He saved me with his lovely hands;
