Wonder
Sometimes we wonder who we are
We search near and far
Searching for eternity
Of what we are going to be
In the past is where we look
All the wrong turns that we took
Somehow they lead us to here
Right now, the future we fear
Where are we going?
Where have we been?
Stop living then and live for now
Start showing yourself how
To forget and forgive
And just start to live
The days seem to be alright
Then we start to wonder at night
We can sit and ponder
Let our minds wander
But really are we going anywhere?
The window is where we sit and stare
Everything is ahead, but still
The past can’t be left for dead
Where are we going?
Where have we been?
Stop living then and live for now
Start showing yourself how
To forget and forgive
And just start to live
Make the best of your time
Don’t follow any tune or rhyme
Live, laugh, love
Fly through that window like a dove
Make people smile
Drive for miles, for no reason
Do your best to not regret
The past is set, but
Your future is wide open
Get up and stop hopin’
And..
Stop living then and live for now
Start showing yourself how
To forget and forgive
And just start to live
We know where were going
We know where we’ve been
