TRON
As the scar in the earth heals
And the grass begins to grow
In the cemetery I sit and kneel
Asking “why did you have to go?”
It all becomes real to me
This isn’t just a bad dream
My eyes open and I begin to see
Everything really is what it seems
My hand touches where you lay
Memories play like a reel
I’ll see you again some day
I’ve learned how to feel
Life means so much more
To me now that you’re gone
I’m living my life and living for
You, it’s a new dawn
It’s just so hard to wake
From the dreams at night
Knowing it’s all a fake
Sometimes it’s a fright
I know in the end
Whenever that may be
We’ll be together again my friend
Until that day, I can only see
You when I lay my head to rest
Watch over me from up above
To my brother, my hero, my best
Friend, I send my love.
