Look Through the Window
Whenever I'm down
I look through the door
All I can see is darkness
I look around
There’s no one there
I'm all alone
The problem is
You ruin everything
my childhood, my dreams, my self-esteem
You told me I was beautiful
Made it feel like a crime
Then you told my I was ugly
That crossed the line
Everything you told me
Was a lie
Now that I am older I realize
I need to look to the brighter side
So I turn my back to the door,
And look through the window
