Alone
Alone
Bruises on her body
Marks on her back
Slits on her wrist
Feeling locked up inside
Like a room with no door
Not being able to talk to anyone
Like a zipper on her mouth
And it won’t undo
A pain inside of her
That won’t go away
It’s tearing her up
Day by day
Second by second
Not knowing where to turn
Not knowing who to talk to
Needing someone in her life
To make this pain go away
But forever she is alone.
