Friends
When the flowers lose their fragrance,
and the world seems at an end,
When the day has lost its gladness,
what a blessing is a Friend.
You’ve made me laugh and smile
More than I can bear
You’ve helped me through the hardest times
When I was in despair
You kept me up when I was down
And I was feeling blue
You helped me turn my life around
And become somebody new
And I’m so glad, that I can say
I’ve found a Bff that’s true,
a friend that’s always there
And yes, that friend is you!
You’re one that stood there till the end
caring not who is to blame,
one that knew all my shortcomings,
yet, you loved me just the same
So let me make one wish this year,
This only will it be,
I’d like to be the sort of friend
That you have been to me
