All these hurricanes,
They blow on through,
All these people,
Are being pursued,

They destroy all these houses,
And leave some husbands and wives,
To live without their spouses,
They destroy many lives,

It brings families together,
And tears towns apart,
To push on through this,
It takes a lot of heart,

These monsters push through,
Devouring all hope,
Yet we still push on,
We have learned to cope,

Even though,
These wounds will heal,
We this pain,
We shouldn't have to deal,

We pray and hope,
For these storms to end,
When we all just wait,
For this nightmare to begin again.
