Growing Up

We're growing up,
Oh so fast,
I wish these years,
Longer they'd last,
Soon to move,
Out of what's home,
And soon after,
We'll have kids of our own,
We'll get jobs,
And look at houses,
With our pets,
Children and spouses,
There's no going back,
To times we had,
No matter if it's,
The good or the bad,
We may change things,
If we could,
Although I don't think,
I ever would,
For I grew up,
With a family I love,
It must be a gift,
Sent from above.
