Daisies and Music
My garden is beautiful.
But not in a petunia/orchid type of way.
Instead of grass, there is my family.
My family is everything; they soften my fall.
There are no roses. There is music.
Sometimes music is just as beautiful as roses.
Instead of trees, there are books.
I can climb to new heights with novels.
Stories whisk me away to a faraway place.
Your garden may have mums and daisies.
But, you know, flowers bring you joy,
And mine makes me perfectly happy.
