Relaxed at the Beach
Smell of salt water surrounds me.
Sunshine beats down on my skin.
Cold sunscreen rubbed onto my face.
A mist of the ocean water.
Waves crash in my ears.
Little kids laughing,
Finding seashells in the delicate sand,
Making sandcastles.
The grainy but soft feeling beneath my feet.
A nice breeze brushes past my cheeks.
I sprint for the water.
Chills run up my arms
Then turn to warmth.
I dunk my head-
So refreshing
I lay down on my towel.
The sun’s rays pound on my body.
Too bad the day is almost over.
