Seasons
The sun begins to fade,
as the leaves begin to fall.
Night takes over day,
like a shadow above us all.
It gets colder every day,
which we draw closer to the end.
Soon we will be in winter's grasp,
only to be released once again.
The snow which covers the worn down steets,
melts and picks up pace.
The next thing in which we know,
water is pouring down on our face.
The sorrow of the sky falls upon the earth.
And all can feel its pain.
But from this sadness the Earth grows strong,
and the clouds begin to fade away.
Even though it just began,
all stops in its path.
For the sun begins to rise once more,
but long it will not last.
