Cool, Crisp air
After twilight
when I go outside in the cool, crisp air
and I just stand there without any worries.
The air feels like silk
through my fingertips
And I think how the air works
Its way through the trees, and bushes
And to some animals it feels like healing
Therapy which would make some animals
To do a stunt just to get that cool, crisp air
Flowing through their fur. But to some animals
Or humans they would rather hide behind a pane
Of glass then to feel the air but if the wind doesn’t
Like that idea it will slam against the glass and will
Try to break the pane of glass but most likely it will
Fail but then it’ll try again, and again, and again, until
It doesn’t want to try anymore.
