An Artist
A single stroke of the pencil
was all it ever took,
and she had another masterpiece.
I'd sit and watch her.
It never felt long,
but always went by slow.
Her hands were so steady,
the lines so perfect.
The colors she used
were amazing,
even when it was just
black and white.
She could make
anything look beautiful
no matter what.
I have always envied her.
She put so much passion
into her pictures,
even when she was just doodling.
