5th Grade Lovers
You’re the paper to my glue;
You’re the untied laces to my shoe.
You’re the mac to my cheese;
You’re the “thank you” to my “please”.
You’re the apple to my pear;
You’re the comb to my hair.
You’re the pledge to my flag;
You’re the shirt to my tag.
You’re the Disney to my T.V.;
You’re the scrape to my knee
You’re the slip to my slide;
You’re the seek to my hide.
You’re the pop to my corn;
You’re the squeak to my bike horn.
You’re the paper to my plane;
You’re the candy to my cane.
You’re the bubble to my bath;
You’re the long division to my math.
You’re the camp to my fire;
You’re the swing to my tire.
You’re the weirdo and I’m the freak,
Too bad it’ll only last a week
