Halloween
Let the ghouls and ghosts go bump in the night,
Let them go and give children great fright.
They run around all happy and merry,
Little did they know they would be fearful and weary.
The monsters are out and ready to scare,
While the children had a good dare.
They were dared to go into a haunted house,
One even got scared by a mouse.
The ghouls and ghosts got ready,
To scare a child named Freddy.
As Freddy ran screaming,
The others got ready for ducking and leaning.
The ghosts got on one side and the ghouls on the other,
The children feared they weren’t alone,
Like they had little brothers.
The screaming and running soon began with a dark, hairy spider.
The ghosts thought their screeches were awfully nice and enjoyed apple cider.
Halloween ended as all holidays do,
Don’t be surprised if someone yells
BOO!
