This Letter I will write to you
Though when I finish
I will not do
My hearts desire to give it to you
For on this paper
You would see
My heart's truth
It would tell of my love for thee
From old times past
Of our adventures
All but the last
The last is so fresh in my memory
When we said goodbye
And I turned to leave
I prayed you would come after me
But now I see
This could not be
Now my heart has lost it's poetry
