Who Am I
Who Am I to write a poem when God has said it all.
In every blade of grass in every tree grown tall.
Who am I to count the stars if such a thing I could.
Or the raindrops as they fall upon a dark pine wood.
Who am I to kill a bird that sings a golden song.
Or take the breath of anything that lives and does no harm.
Who am I to break the thread of life that God has spun.
Or say this shall be it's end before it has begun.
