Raining Day
It was raining cats and dogs
My home felt gated
If only I had a photo to make you understand
My face is wooden while I think back to those days
Unto this very day whenever I see the sunlight my eyes begin to rise in admiration
But when thunder and lightning stroke
I felt my heart break into tiny little dews of tears
I’m stuck aren’t I?
In each life some rain must have fallen
Should the wind of change drizzle its greatness, and shine its new coming
And every day has its ups and downs
My life was a market on a Saturday
I just want to get in and out quickly
Do not ever get too comfortable with good changes
But embrace them none-the-less
When it’s was cats and dogs I was dealing with
My pain hurt from doing anything too drastic
All that is falling are my tears
From the lack of seeing no sun to brighten my days
I feel if I were a puzzle and the rain drapes were my pieces fall
Catching some of my sorrows…
And letting some seep through its coverings
