Letting
Time
pass by
living her
life
one second at a time
watching everyone else
look ahead into the
future
while she is sitting there, patiently
telling everyone what time it is
whispering to all her people
"It's time, it's time"
taking her time
to think everything over
carefully
knowing every minute
second, hour, and day
will come
sooner or later
hands all over the place
pointing to two
and then six
undecided who to blame
