Adolescence
There’s a reason for everything in this world,
But these reasons are unjust to a young girl,
Unfair as they might seem,
It can’t beat the sadness of that child’s gleam
Not being able to keep composed,
Or the fear, or the anxieties or the tears closed,
The little girl in me would take it all for granted,
But my older self tries to help
