Nothing Like A Book
An everlasting day
Renders the soul
Trite and gray
But fear not
My weathered kinsmen
Of the shelf
For the sun shall die away
Then rising from the aisles
A hero up on the ladder
He will browse your spines
And select one to his liking
The words he reads
Will linger on the tongue
And revibrate in mind
With each passing
Of the page,
Sounds of the
Crude lives blur
There is no portal
Like a book
To take us
worlds away
