Inauguration
It’s that time of year when everyone will hear,
who the new president will be. On January 20 I’m betting my money on a pedestal he’ll stand in D.C.
He’ll stand their astute as the soldier’s salute their new commander and chief. Were all aptly dressed ready to be impressed with his speech that’s sure to be brief.
“I solemnly swear” said with an unerring glare as his hand was held up high. “To uphold, protect and defend the Constitution,” mimicking the Chief Of Justice with a sigh.
People cheered with smiles along the streets for miles as they inferred the President’s integrity. The race is done and now starts the fun with hope of what the next four years will be.
