Blood Soldier
I walked the shadows of a moonless night
Afraid of what has changed me forever
Never before have I been such a fright
These new skills of mine I must endeavor
In the past my mission was to protect
Were I was looked up to as very brave
Now people I see I long to neglect
For what is inside them I clearly crave
Appearance altered in a lavish grace
In no way will I pleasure my past dreams
This useful heart again will never race
The future only filled with cries and screams
Unable to understand this new me
My mind twisting in a burning fire
When people see me I wish them to flee
I can’t save them from a true vampire
