my iPod describes me—
with blinding/frightening
accuracy.
it shows the person you would see
if not for what I [hold in]
I am
—Always In Control—
or so I seem
but a
single
glance
At my {playlists, podcasts, albums} music
can show you my wild side
my reckless side
my wanderlust
side.
I am held back
by Great Expectations
—but my music not held back
by any sense of rhyme or
reason
only by
my uncontrollable whims.
so just click “Shuffle”
take my hand
and hurtle down the path of my mind.
keep your ears
your mind
open
you may be surprised.
