'Tis Light, But Dark
Gaze through the darkness
Try to find a glint of light
I see none
Eternal abyss
Hope is light
And it is absent
In the presence of desire
It is wanted but not found
Love is light
And it is absent
But in the presence of desire
It is wanted but not found
Fear is darkness
And plenty of it
In the presence of fear
Comes cowardace and worry
She is darkness
A black hole
Pulling you in
Only to never let you go
Until you rot
I'm lost within
She is harvesting
My blood sustains her greed
But I can't help but wonder
Would she break if I became dry?
